Blessings & Bows: A Holiday Ornament Collection
In a world filled with division, let these ornaments remind us that together we can soar above challenges with understanding and compassion.
Earlier this year I created similar versions on a larger scale. And this summer I made one with warm colors - rust and orange. I keep coming back to doves because something about making them feels special and important. I also really have a thing for birds, especially floaty, peaceful ones like this. They’re crafted from cleanup paper towels, alternated with layers of light modeling paste, tissue paper, paint, and shimmer to create their wings.
Made to last for years, these Unity Dove ornaments are created on 4x4” canvases using artist-quality materials, premium grosgrain ribbon, and a gloss varnish. Each one is packed in a clear bag ready for gift-giving.
These are small, hand-painted pieces of original art. The ornaments are similar to each other, but each one is unique. Individual selection is not available, but I’m confident you’ll love the ornament you receive!
