Where to Find Gallery on First

This gallery shares a space with Jeanine Taylor Folk Art in the Hotchkiss Building. We're located between Magpies Modern General and Hollerbach's German Restaurant. You'll see a large Beatles "Yellow Submarine" inspired mural on our alley wall!

What to Expect

Gallery on First is the vibrant hub of Sanford’s art scene, featuring eight working studios and a gallery area with 14 Orlando-area artists.

We share a space with Jeanine Taylor Folk Art, which features a contemporary Southern American folk art at its center. Surrounding it are eight artist studios — four on each side — with a range of mediums, including watercolor, oil, acrylic, ceramics, and sculpture.

Please join us for Open Studio Night every third Saturday, an in-person class, or a community gathering!

With its historic charm, the building boasts original 1800s brick walls, vaulted ceilings, and exposed pipes, creating a welcoming atmosphere for art enthusiasts.
